Anantmool (Hemidesmus indicus) means 'eternal root' . Ananthamool is a traditional herb belonging to the Apocynaceae family. Due to the biological activities occurring in its various parts, it is used throughout the Indian subcontinent. In English it is known as Indian Sarsaparilla.
