The temple of Maa Annapurna is situated at a short distance from Baba Vishwanath Temple in Kashi, the city of Bholenath. The idol of Maa Annapurna is installed in this temple. Story of Mother Annapurna
It is said that at some point there was a shortage of food on the earth. There was an outcry on its land people. At that time people worshiped Tridev and prayed to him to remove the food crisis.
